Destiny Washington (she/they) AKA Lucretia Macevil, is a multi-disciplinary artist activist from Brooklyn, NY, currently in Harlem. Their artistic practice intentionally bridges the worlds of subculture, art, and activism. With a background in Art Direction and Graphic Design, Lucretia spent 10 years shaping visual languages for small businesses, large brands, corporations, and friends - while nurturing a personal art practice and creative muscle rooted in reclamation and resistance.
Now turning fully toward community-based art and activism (sorry, no more advertising for me), Lucretia's work continues to explore the boundaries of visibility and voice. Whether through video, prose, mixed media, or public engagements, they seek to create spaces where truth and complexity are welcomed.
